1.Who is Silver Screen Express?

Silver Screen Express is a Midlothian, Virginia based company that owns and operates state of the art DVD Movie Rental vending machines. Top of Page

2. How do the machines work?

Our machines are as easy to use as an ATM.

-- To rent a movie, start by swiping a credit card. Press the "RENT MOVIE" button from the on-screen menu. Enter the movie code located by the cover art and in seconds your DVD is dispensed and a receipt is printed for your review.

-- To return a movie, swipe your credit card, press the "RETURN MOVIE" button, and place the DVD into the dispenser slot. A receipt is printed showing the charges made to your credit card.

3. Do I need to become a member?

No membership is required to rent movies from our machines. Anyone over the age of 18 with a valid credit card can use our machines as many times as they wish.
However our machines do have an option to join an unlimited rental program, but this is optional and people who rent from our machines are not required to join this program. Top of Page

4. How many movies does each machine hold?

Our machines hold up to 660 movies, the machine can hold up to 180 different titles, but we only carry between 100-125 different movie titles in each machine allowing our customers to have access to the most popular movies that were released in the past 6-8 months. Top of Page

5. How many movies can I rent at the same time?

If you rent individual movie titles, the number of movie rentals is limited to four.

If you join our unlimited rental program you can have 1 or 2 movie rentals out at any time depending on the plan available at your local machine. Top of Page

6. What if I never return a movie?

You will never be charged more than the MSRP of the movie. In fact, if you never return the movie, you own it, because your credit card will be charged the MSRP + tax. Top of Page

7. What forms of payment do your machines accept?

Our machines will only accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Our machines DO NOT accept cash. Top of Page

8. Where are your machines located?

We mainly place our machines in office buildings, residential buildings, and Retail Establishments.

9. Do you rent VHS movies or video games?

We currently rent DVD movies, XBOX, and Playstation 2 games in our machines. Top of Page

10. Why are your prices so much lower than my local video store?

Our overhead is much lower than your local video store and we pass those saving onto our customers. Top of Page

11. Can I buy previously viewed movies from your machine

Our machines are capable to sell previously viewed movies. Previously Viewed Movies will be made available for sale as they become available. Top of Page
